About Golden Shadow K9 Training Center

Golden Shadow Canine Training Center was established in June 2022 with a clear vision to become a specialized institution for the professional training, development, certification, and deployment of security canines and K9 handlers. Its foundation traces back to the Canine Department of Animal Genetics Improvements and Agri-Resources Inc. (AGIAR), led by its President and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Eulalio D. Lorenzo, DVM. Recognizing the growing need for highly trained K9 teams for security, explosive detection, narcotic detection, and other specialized operations, Golden Shadow was established to provide structured training programs grounded in professional standards, operational readiness, and continuous development.

The institution is built upon the expertise and pioneering contributions of Col. Reynaldo F. Tanada, DVM, MM, CSP PNP (Ret.), whose extensive background in veterinary medicine, law enforcement, security operations, and professional K9 development has contributed significantly to the advancement of K9 training in the Philippines. His specialized K9 training in Alabama, USA, including Explosive Detector Dog Instructor and Dual Purpose Dog Instructor courses, strengthened the organization’s foundation in internationally informed K9 practices. Supporting this expertise is Head Trainer Msg. Carlito M. Parayno PA (Ret.), who also underwent specialized K9 training in Alabama, USA and brings extensive experience from his service with the Presidential Security Group K9 Unit, international explosive detection assignments, and specialized instructor certifications. Together, their expertise has helped establish Golden Shadow’s strong foundation in technical proficiency, handler development, discipline, and operational excellence.

Today, Golden Shadow Canine Training Center provides professional K9 handler training, certification, specialized canine development, and K9 deployment services for organizations requiring dependable and operationally capable K9 teams. Its commitment to professional standards has been recognized through its designation as Outstanding Security Canine Training Center of the Year during the 44th and 45th Civil Security Group (CSG) Founding Anniversary Celebrations in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
